How to play
A secret five-letter word is hidden. Each clue word is marked with how many of its letters appear in the secret:
right letter, right place
right letter, wrong place
You're told how many, never which. That's the puzzle.
Tap any letter in a clue to make notes: once to cross it out, twice to mark it as in the word, three times to clear it.
You get 3 guesses. A wrong guess becomes a new clue, marked in blue. Every case has exactly one answer, findable by logic alone.
You're timed from the moment the clues appear, and your time is revealed when you crack it. The clock pauses if you switch away.
